This Summer Season

My Fair Lady
Featuring a large cast of actor-musicians, sumptuous costumes and a spectacular stage design.

Henceforward...
the
Scottish première of a brilliant and deliciously funny futuristic comedy.

See How They Run!
First seen at PFT in 1956, See How They Run! is simply one of the greatest farces of all time: brilliantly constructed and achingly funny.

Trelawny Of The 'Wells'
Pinero’s affectionate, hilarious memoir of the theatrical world of his youth in the 1860s is the only major work by this great comic playwright never before staged at PFT.

Privates on Parade
Privates On Parade pays a nostalgic and wildly funny tribute to the dying days of Empire and the swansong of the concert party.

Dr. Angelus
One of the last great works written by the founding father of the modern Scottish theatre, Dr. Angelus - part psychological thriller, part pitch black comedy - was made famous by Alistair Sim’s mesmerizing performance in the title role in the original 1947 production.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre

We are very fortunate in Pitlochry to have our very own theatre right here in town, and just a few minutes walk from Victoria’s.

Founded in 1951, the Pitlochry Festival theatre has gone from strength to strength, with people coming from far and near to attend performances. Famously known as “Scotland’s Theatre in the Hills”, the theatre shows a wide selection of plays from farce to comedy to tragedy to musicals. In addition there are regular foyer events, art & craft demonstrations, creative workshops, backstage tours and now, also a winter season programme.

We offer our pre-theatre dinner menu from 5.30pm in order to enable those wishing to attend the theatre to dine at a relaxed pace before the performance. Please just mention on booking that you will be going to the theatre that evening and we will guarantee no delay in your dining experience. It actually is the perfect stroll from Victoria’s down to the river and across the bridge to the theatre, perfect to aid digestion before settling down to one of this year’s fabulous performances.
